About Logan County Free Fair

The Logan County Free Fair in Guthrie is an August fair in Oklahoma's first capital city, celebrating the agricultural heritage of a county that was the site of the 1889 Land Run and whose county seat preserves the largest concentration of Victorian commercial architecture in the United States.

What to Expect

Expect livestock shows, FFA and 4-H competitions, carnival rides, local food vendors, and a fair in the rolling red clay and post oak country of the Cimarron River valley north of Oklahoma City.

Visitor Tips

Guthrie was Oklahoma's first state capital — the stunning Victorian downtown (a National Historic Landmark), the Oklahoma Territorial Museum, the Scottish Rite Masonic Temple, and the annual 89er Celebration make Guthrie one of the most rewarding small cities in the entire state.
