About Blaine County Free Fair

The Blaine County Free Fair in Watonga is an August fair in the red hills and gypsum country of west-central Oklahoma, celebrating the wheat, cattle, and Roman Nose State Park heritage of a county defined by its dramatic red cedar breaks and the North Canadian River valley.

What to Expect

Expect livestock shows, FFA and 4-H competitions, local food vendors, and a community fair in the rolling red hills and wheat country of Blaine County.

Visitor Tips

Watonga is home to Roman Nose State Park — named for Chief Henry Roman Nose of the Cheyenne, the park features a beautiful canyon lake and springs in the gypsum hills, and the T.B. Ferguson Home (home of an early Oklahoma governor) is also in Watonga.
