The Biggest Fairs in the Pacific Northwest

Vancouver's Clark County Fair drew 267,800 attendees in 2024, up from about 256,800 the year before, according to Fair Manager John Morrison — who calls the 255,000-270,000 range the fair's "new normal." One of the largest county fairs on the West Coast.

Yakima's Central Washington State Fair drew 263,349 attendees in 2024, up 8% from 2023, according to State Fair Park President and CEO Kathy Kramer. Running since 1892, it's one of the state's oldest fairs.

The Western Idaho Fair runs each August at Expo Idaho in Boise and drew more than 260,000 visitors in 2024, according to the fair — the largest annual event in the Treasure Valley. Attendance slipped by about 8,200 in 2025 even as higher ride and concession prices pushed revenue to a record.

Blackfoot's Eastern Idaho State Fair drew a record 254,209 visitors in 2024 — its sixth attendance record in ten years, according to General Manager Brandon Bird. Held the week before Labor Day, it's the largest annual event in eastern Idaho, anchored by one of the region's most competitive livestock and 4-H programs. Running since 1902.

Monroe's Evergreen State Fair drew an estimated 228,681 visitors over its 12-day run in 2023, down about 9% from 2022, according to HeraldNet.com. The fair set an all-time record of 355,600 visitors in 2019. Running since 1874, it's one of the state's oldest fairs.

The Spokane County Interstate Fair set an attendance record of 206,615 guests in 2019, with a single-day high of 41,891, according to Fair Director Erin Gurtel. Running since 1886, it's the largest fair in Eastern Washington.

The Benton Franklin Fair & Rodeo in Kennewick set an attendance record of 123,547 in 2024, up from 112,250 in 2023, according to Executive Director Lori Lancaster.
