About Evergreen State Fair
The Evergreen State Fair in Monroe is one of Washington's premier agricultural fairs, running eleven days in late August through Labor Day weekend at the Snohomish County Fairgrounds. Dating to 1874, it is one of Washington's oldest and most enduring agricultural fair traditions. With its large animal barns, championship livestock competitions, and proximity to the Seattle metro area, it draws some of the largest crowds of any fair in the state.
What to Expect
World-class livestock shows, 4-H competitions, carnival rides, live music, fair food, tractor pulls, demolition derbies, and one of the largest flower and garden shows in the Northwest fill nearly two weeks of programming.
Visitor Tips
The fair closes on Labor Day — plan for heavy traffic and book accommodations early for the holiday weekend finale.
