A Closer Look
Held annually in Friday Harbor, the San Juan County Fair is one of the most uniquely situated fairs in the United States, held on the largest of the San Juan Islands in the middle of the Salish Sea. The island setting and ferry-access-only location give it an atmosphere unlike any other county fair.
Planning Your Visit
Getting to the fair requires a Washington State Ferry — book early in summer as ferries fill up fast, and plan for a full day or overnight stay on the island.
