About Rogers County Free Fair

The Rogers County Free Fair in Claremore is an August fair in the Cherokee Nation country of northeast Oklahoma, celebrating the cattle, oil, and Native American heritage of a county famous as the birthplace of Will Rogers — humorist, actor, and philosopher who became one of the most beloved Americans of the 20th century.

What to Expect

Expect livestock shows, FFA and 4-H competitions, carnival rides, local food vendors, and a fair in the rolling tallgrass prairie and blackjack oak country of the Verdigris River valley.

Visitor Tips

Claremore is Will Rogers country — the Will Rogers Memorial Museum (a comprehensive tribute to the Cherokee cowboy philosopher), the J.M. Davis Arms and Historical Museum (one of the largest private gun collections in America), and the Blue Hole swimming area on the Verdigris River make Claremore an outstanding northeast Oklahoma destination.
