About Harper County Free Fair
Held each July in Buffalo, Harper County Free Fair celebrates the wheat and cattle heritage of a county along the Cimarron River corridor just south of the Kansas border.
What to Expect
Expect livestock shows, FFA and 4-H competitions, local food vendors, and a small community fair in the open prairie country of the Cimarron River watershed.
Visitor Tips
Buffalo is the Harper County seat on US-183 — the Salt Plains National Wildlife Refuge to the east (where selenite crystals can be dug from the salt flats) and the Great Salt Plains Lake offer outstanding natural experiences in this quiet corner of northwest Oklahoma.
