About NIBROC Festival
The NIBROC Festival — Corbin spelled backward — is Corbin, Kentucky's signature annual community celebration, running as a tradition since 1952. Held each August, it draws visitors from across the Whitley/Knox county line with a parade, carnival rides, free live entertainment, and food, craft, and commercial vendors, backed by sponsors including Baptist Health and the Forcht Group.
What to Expect
Expect carnival rides, a parade, free live entertainment, food and craft vendor booths, and community sports tournaments including cornhole, 3-on-3 basketball, and volleyball.
Visitor Tips
Corbin is also home to the Harland Sanders Cafe and Museum — the original restaurant where Colonel Sanders first served his fried chicken recipe, considered the birthplace of KFC.
