About South Central Fair

Held each October in Chase City, the South Central Fair serves the agricultural communities of Mecklenburg County on the Virginia-North Carolina border, celebrating the Southside Virginia tobacco country along the shores of Kerr Lake.

Expect livestock shows, 4-H and FFA competitions, carnival rides, local food vendors, and a community fair celebrating the tobacco and mixed farming heritage of Virginia's southernmost Piedmont counties.
