The Liberty County Fair in Liberty is a September fair in the Big Thicket gateway country northeast of Houston, celebrating the timber, rice, and cattle heritage of a county defined by the Trinity River bottomlands, the Big Thicket wilderness, and an early colonial history that predates the Republic of Texas.
