Held annually in Hot Springs, the Fall River County Fair celebrates the southern Black Hills county where the natural warm springs, Mammoth Site fossil excavation, and Wind Cave National Park define a county of remarkable geological and natural heritage.
Visitor Tips
The Mammoth Site in Hot Springs is an active paleontological dig where over 60 Columbian mammoth skeletons have been excavated from a prehistoric sinkhole. Wind Cave National Park protects one of the world longest cave systems. Hot Springs sandstone buildings define a charming Victorian resort town.
