The Kay County Free Fair, based in Newkirk, is an August fair in the Ponca City country of north-central Oklahoma, celebrating the oil, wheat, and cattle heritage of a county that was home to E.W. Marland (Oklahoma's oil pioneer and governor) and the historic Ponca and Otoe-Missouria tribal lands.
