About Greer County Free Fair
Held each July in Mangum, Greer County Free Fair celebrates the cotton, wheat, and cattle heritage of a county once disputed between Oklahoma and Texas that was finally awarded to Oklahoma by the Supreme Court in 1896.
What to Expect
Expect livestock shows, FFA and 4-H competitions, local food vendors, and a community fair in the rolling short-grass prairie and red clay country of Greer County.
Visitor Tips
Mangum is the Greer County seat — the Old Greer County Museum documents the fascinating history of this disputed territory, and the surrounding red plains and gypsum hills of southwest Oklahoma preserve a distinctive landscape.
