About Cimarron County Free Fair
The Cimarron County Free Fair in Boise City is a summer fair in the far western tip of the Oklahoma Panhandle, celebrating the wheat and cattle heritage of the most remote county in the contiguous United States — a region once called No Man's Land that was not part of any state or territory until Oklahoma statehood in 1907.
What to Expect
Expect livestock shows, FFA and 4-H competitions, local food vendors, and the warm community spirit of one of the most geographically isolated county fairs in America.
Visitor Tips
Cimarron County touches four states (Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Colorado) — Black Mesa, the highest point in Oklahoma, is accessible from Boise City, and the Cimarron River canyon country offers outstanding scenery in this starkly beautiful corner of the southern Great Plains.
