About Ramsey County Fair

The Ramsey County Fair in Devils Lake celebrates the "Perch Capital of the World" — Devils Lake's extraordinary yellow perch fishery and the lake's continuing rise (flooding farms and communities for three decades) define a county where water management, Native American heritage, and productive grain farming coexist in a complex and changing landscape.

What to Expect

Expect livestock shows, 4-H and FFA competitions, grain exhibits, fishing and outdoor recreation exhibits, local food vendors, and a fair drawing from the greater Devils Lake area.

Visitor Tips

Devils Lake City has invested significantly in flood protection as the lake continues to rise. The Spirit Lake Nation's tribal lands surround much of the lake, and the Sullys Hill National Game Preserve — a former national park — provides bison viewing. The lake's walleye and perch fishing is internationally renowned.
