The North Dakota State Capitol's 19-story Art Deco tower is the tallest building in North Dakota and one of the most distinctive state capitals in America. Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park preserves On-a-Slant Mandan village and the cavalry post from which Custer departed for the Little Bighorn. The Missouri River provides excellent fishing and recreation.
