Visitor Tips

Fallon is on US-50 about 60 miles east of Reno and Carson City. The Lahontan Valley is one of Nevada's surprising agricultural oases — the cantaloupes grown here are exceptionally sweet due to the high-desert climate. Churchill County also has the Naval Air Station Fallon, home of the Navy's Top Gun fighter weapons school.
