About Tate County Fair
Held each August in Senatobia, Tate County Fair celebrates the cotton, cattle, and timber heritage of a county at the geographic boundary where the north Mississippi uplands begin to flatten into the Delta alluvial plain.
What to Expect
Expect livestock shows, FFA and 4-H competitions, local food vendors, and a community fair in the rolling hill country on the eastern edge of the north Mississippi Delta.
Visitor Tips
Senatobia is the Tate County seat — the Northwest Mississippi Community College in Senatobia and the proximity to Memphis (about 40 miles north on I-55) define the economic and cultural character of Tate County's transitional landscape between the hill country and the Delta.
