About Lauderdale County Fair
Held each August in Meridian, Lauderdale County Fair celebrates the railroad, military, and cultural heritage of Mississippi's fifth-largest city — once called the "Queen City" of Mississippi and long the most important railroad junction in the Deep South between New Orleans and Atlanta.
