About Kandiyohi County Fair

The Kandiyohi County Fair in Willmar celebrates west-central Minnesota lakes and agriculture — Willmar is the regional hub for west-central Minnesota where corn, soybeans, and the Willmar eight labor landmark define a community of agricultural and labor history significance.

What to Expect

Expect livestock shows, 4-H and FFA competitions, grain exhibits, local food vendors, carnival rides, and a fair drawing from the greater Willmar area.

Visitor Tips

The Willmar Eight strike by bank tellers in 1977 became a landmark in American labor and women history. Kandiyohi County lakes provide excellent fishing. The county is home to the West Central Research and Outreach Center at the University of Minnesota.
