About Woodford County Fair
The Woodford County Fair in Versailles (pronounced "Ver-SALES" locally) is a traditional fair in one of Kentucky's most storied Bluegrass counties, home to some of the most prestigious thoroughbred horse farms in the world. The fair celebrates the working agricultural character of a county best known for bourbon and horses.
What to Expect
Livestock competitions, 4-H and FFA exhibits, carnival rides, food vendors, and community entertainment. The horse culture of Woodford County is woven throughout the fair experience.
Visitor Tips
Versailles is on US-60 about 15 miles west of Lexington. Keeneland Race Course and Woodford Reserve Distillery are nearby.
