About Perry County Fair
The Perry County Fair in Hazard is an August tradition in one of eastern Kentucky's most historically significant coal cities. Hazard was the epicenter of the 1930s Harlan County coal wars and sits in the heart of the Kentucky coalfields. The county fair celebrates the community heritage that has persisted through booms and busts.
