About Woodstock Fair
The Woodstock Fair is Connecticut's largest agricultural fair and a Labor Day Weekend institution in the Quiet Corner of northeast Connecticut. Held since 1860 at the Woodstock Fairgrounds, this five-day fair celebrates the pastoral traditions of the Woodstock and Windham County communities with some of the best livestock competitions in New England.

Championship livestock shows, horse and oxen pulling contests, harness racing, carnival rides, live entertainment on multiple stages, craft and commercial vendors, diverse food options, and agricultural exhibits. One of the best traditional agricultural fairs in New England.
Visitor Tips
The fair always runs Labor Day Weekend (Thursday through Monday). Traffic on Route 169 can be significant — arrive early or late in the day to avoid congestion. The fairgrounds have ample parking. Multi-day passes offer great value for families.
