The Sawyer County Fair, based in Hayward, is a mid-August fair in Wisconsin's premier muskie fishing and north woods vacation country. Hayward is home to the Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame and is surrounded by some of the finest walleye and muskie lakes in the world.
