The Menominee County Fair in Keshena celebrates the homeland of the Menominee Indian Tribe of Wisconsin — Menominee County is the only Wisconsin county coextensive with a tribal reservation, and the tribe has sustainably managed its old-growth forest for over 150 years, preserving 220,000 acres of timber while harvesting it commercially.
