The Hancock County Old Time Fair in New Cumberland once celebrated West Virginia's northernmost county — the state's northern panhandle tip where the Ohio River, Weirton Steel's massive mill, and pottery manufacturing heritage define communities pressed between Ohio and Pennsylvania at the tristate corner. The fair, held for 20+ years at Tomlinson Run State Park, was cancelled in 2023 due to declining participation and has not resumed since.
