About Upshur County Fair (East Texas Yamboree)
Held each September in Gilmer, Upshur County Fair celebrates the timber, poultry, cattle, and sweet potato farming heritage of a county whose annual Yamboree festival celebrates the "World's Sweetest Sweet Potato. "
