About Southwestern Exposition & Livestock Show
The Southwestern Exposition & Livestock Show in Fort Worth is one of the oldest continuously running livestock shows in the United States, a three-week January through February celebration at Will Rogers Memorial Center that launched Fort Worth's identity as Cowtown and remains the crown jewel of the Texas livestock show circuit. It began in 1896 and has stayed a fixture of Texas agricultural life for more than a century.
