About Navarro County Youth Expo
The Navarro County Youth Expo in Corsicana is a March livestock show in the blackland prairie of North Central Texas, celebrating the cotton, cattle, and oil heritage of a county famous for the accidental discovery of oil in 1894 — the first commercial oil discovery west of the Mississippi.
What to Expect
Expect livestock shows, FFA and 4-H competitions, carnival rides, local food vendors, and a community fair in the rolling blackland prairie between Dallas and Waco.
Visitor Tips
Corsicana is defined by oil history and fruitcake — the Collin Street Bakery (whose DeLuxe Fruitcakes are shipped worldwide), the Petroleum Museum of Navarro County, and Navarro Lake make Corsicana a distinctive stop on the I-45 corridor.
