The Putnam County Fair in Cookeville is a ten-day Upper Cumberland celebration drawing large crowds from across the Tennessee Plateau for livestock competition, major entertainment, and family fun. Dating to 1856, it is one of Tennessee's oldest and most enduring agricultural fair traditions.

What to Expect

Expect championship livestock shows, 4-H and FFA competitions, a large carnival midway, nationally recognized grandstand acts, and a wide variety of food and vendors.

Visitor Tips

Cookeville is Tennessee Tech University's home city and the hub of the Upper Cumberland — excellent amenities and easy I-40 access make it a convenient fair destination.
