About Montgomery County Fair

Montgomery County is anchored by Clarksville — Tennessee's fifth-largest city, home to Austin Peay State University and Fort Campbell (home of the 101st Airborne Division "Screaming Eagles") — where one of the nation's largest military installations meets a growing university city at the confluence of the Cumberland and Red Rivers. The fair traces back to 1860, making it one of Tennessee's longest-running agricultural traditions.

What to Expect

Livestock and agricultural competitions, 4-H and FFA exhibits, large carnival midway, major grandstand entertainment, military community activities, and diverse fair food serving Montgomery County's large and diverse military and civilian population.

Visitor Tips

Clarksville is on I-24 between Nashville and Hopkinsville, KY. The 101st Airborne Division Museum at Fort Campbell and Clarksville's growing arts and dining scene make this an excellent multi-day destination around the fair.
