Every year, Kadoka hosts the Jackson County Fair, which celebrates the Badlands Gateway county where the dramatic White River Badlands, the Pine Ridge Reservation approach, and cattle ranching on native grass define a quintessential western South Dakota landscape.
Before You Go
Kadoka is the last town before Badlands National Park on I-90. The White River cuts through dramatic badlands formations. The surrounding Oglala National Grassland and Badlands wilderness provide exceptional wildlife viewing.
