About Warren County Fair
The Warren County Fair in Vicksburg is a September fair at one of the most historically significant cities in the American South, celebrating the agricultural and Civil War heritage of a city whose 47-day siege in 1863 was one of the turning points of the Civil War and whose military park preserves one of the most comprehensive battle landscapes in America.
What to Expect
Expect livestock shows, FFA and 4-H competitions, carnival rides, live entertainment, local food vendors, and a fair in the loess bluffs country overlooking the Mississippi River.
Visitor Tips
Vicksburg is a Civil War pilgrimage site — the Vicksburg National Military Park (one of the largest and most beautifully maintained Civil War parks in the country), the USS Cairo Museum, the Old Court House Museum, and the Biedenharn Candy Company (where Coca-Cola was first bottled) make Vicksburg an extraordinary Mississippi destination.
