What to Know
Every year, Shakopee hosts the Scott County Fair, which is one of the Twin Cities metro's premier county fairs, set along the Minnesota River valley in one of the state's fastest-growing counties. Shakopee has deep Dakota Nation heritage and a long history as a river trading community.

Expect 4-H livestock shows, youth competitions, carnival rides, fair food, and grandstand entertainment drawing crowds from across the southwest metro.
