The Nicollet County Fair in St. Peter celebrates the agricultural and academic traditions of a community anchored by Gustavus Adolphus College and surrounded by productive Minnesota River valley farmland. St. Peter has a rich history as one of southern Minnesota's earliest settlements.

Livestock shows, 4-H exhibits, carnival rides, local food vendors, and grandstand entertainment draw the St. Peter community together each mid-August.
