About Greene County Fair
Held each August in Paragould, Greene County Fair celebrates the cotton, soybeans, and Crowley's Ridge heritage of a county on the famous Crowley's Ridge — a narrow anomalous ridge of windblown loess soil rising 200 feet above the flat Delta alluvial plain and running 150 miles through eastern Arkansas.
What to Expect
Expect livestock shows, FFA and 4-H competitions, carnival rides, local food vendors, and a fair in the Crowley's Ridge and Mississippi Delta transition country of northeast Arkansas.
Visitor Tips
Paragould is the Greene County seat on Crowley's Ridge — the Crowley's Ridge Parkway State Park system, the unusual Crowley's Ridge topography (biologically distinct from the surrounding Delta plain), and the surrounding cotton and soybean farmland define the character of Greene County.
