It set a new opening-day record with more than 44,000 visitors, and its Sale of Champions livestock auction raised a fair-record $250,475 for 4-H and FFA scholarships.

The Arkansas State Fair is the flagship annual event of the Natural State, held each October at the Arkansas State Fairgrounds in Little Rock. Since 1938, it's brought Arkansas neighbors together year after year. Drawing visitors from all 75 counties, it is the premier showcase for Arkansas agriculture, youth achievement, and entertainment, combining the traditions of a great agricultural fair with major midway attractions and headline concerts.
