About Calhoun County Fair
Held each August in Anniston, Calhoun County Fair celebrates the iron, military, and outdoor heritage of a county anchored by Anniston — once a major iron and chemical manufacturing center and now defined by Fort McClellan's legacy and the outstanding natural landscapes of the Choccolocco Valley.
What to Expect
Expect livestock shows, FFA and 4-H competitions, carnival rides, live entertainment, local food vendors, and a fair serving the diverse communities of Anniston and the surrounding Calhoun County townships.
Visitor Tips
Anniston is a northeast Alabama city with surprising cultural depth — the Anniston Museum of Natural History (a superb regional natural history museum), the Berman Museum of World History (with an extraordinary collection of antique weapons), and the Coldwater Mountain trails at Choccolocco Mountain make Anniston a worthwhile northeast Alabama destination.
